A new Book!

Abu Dhabi Public Spaces: Urban Encounters, Social diversity and (in)formality

The fruition of a 2-year research program, a multidisciplinary analysis of Abu Dhabi's Public spaces, co-authored with Clio Chaveneau and Hadrien Dubucs of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.

The initial research team also included Clemence Montagne, Hanu Dilip and Israa Maghoub from Sorbonne, as well as 2 students of my Department of Architecture in Abu Dhabi University: Shafaq Qamer and Ayesha Zahid. The Research and this book were funded by Abu Dhabi's ADEK (Department of Education and Knowledge) and Sorbonne Abu Dhabi. We thank them both for their vital contribution and belief in our project. We would also like to thank Motivate Media Group for the smooth cooperation and this amazing publication.

It will be distributed in bookstores across the UAE (and abroad) starting next week!
