Photography at the urban scale is even more demanding. It carries social, historical, economic, political and cultural context. It is a revelation of a palimpsest. Of communities. Of built up dreams and empty space. Either on the street level or by the urban morphologies, the urban scale is capable of the darkest nightmares and the most noble of aspirations.
