Invited Lecture at the Department of Urban Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, Volos Greece

I was honored to be invited for a Lecture at one of the MSc Programs of the Department of Urban Planning and Regional Development at the University of Thessaly (http://www.prd.uth.gr/ ), in my city, Volos Greece. The honor is more special given the fact that I have studied my MSc at the same Department and I was even able to teach as an Adjunct right after my PhD completion.

The lecture was entitled: “Tourism as a growth provider; Housing and Cultural transformations in the UAE”.

At its closing, there was a beautiful surprise awaiting: Apart from the organizers Drs. Theodoros Metaxas and Nikolaos Samaras, another MSc colleague/alumni and friend, Eva Psatha was present. But also, one of our professors, Prof. Alexis Deffner, whom I hadn’t seen for a long time. It was such an honor to meet and discuss again.
